The YRD NSC (Nano Silicon Composite) series thermal insulation sheet is a high-performance insulation material for battery systems, delivering outstanding performance in blocking heat between battery cells and suppressing thermal-runaway propagation.
It is a key material that dramatically reduces battery fire risk, particularly in industries exposed to high temperatures such as EVs and energy storage systems (ESS).

Features of the YRD NSC Thermal Insulation Sheet

  • High temperature resistance: withstands up to 1200°C with no structural deformation even under prolonged flame exposure
  • Ultra-low thermal conductivity: a nano-micropore structure blocks heat-transfer paths, suppressing convection, radiation and conduction
  • Ultra-thin design: excellent insulation performance at a thickness of only 1-3 mm, saving space
  • Mechanical strength: high compression resistance with excellent insulation and sealing performance for a wide range of environments

Technical Performance

  • Thermal conductivity: ≤0.023 W/m·K (@25°C)
  • Flame-retardant rating: UL94-V0 or higher
  • Test results
    • Blocks heat for 20 minutes at 650°C
    • Keeps the back-side temperature below 200°C for 30 minutes at 845°C
